  • Boiling water500 ml
  • Kibbeh flour250 g
  • bunch of mint1 unit(s)
  • Ground beef500 g
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Diced onion1 unit(s)
  • Butter25 g
  • Wheat flour25 g
  • Nutmeg Powder to taste
  • shredded mozzarella cheese250 g
  • Diced Tomatoes2 unit(s)
  • Olive oil to taste
  • Milk250 ml
  1. Place the kibbeh flour in a bowl and add the boiling water. Let it hydrate for 10 minutes.
  2. While the kibe flour hydrates, cut the onion, the tomatoes, remove the mint leaves and set aside.
  3. Make the white sauce. You will heat a pan and put the butter. When it is melted, add the wheat flour little by little without stopping to stir. Then you will add the milk, the nutmeg powder and the salt and continue stirring until your white sauce thickens. Reserve. At that time you can now turn on your oven to preheat to 230° degrees. (Note: there may be variation from ovens to ovens).
  4. Drain your kibe flour with the help of a colander and return to the bowl. Now you will mix your ground beef, diced onion, mint, black pepper and salt in the kibbeh flour. Mix all the ingredients very well and set aside.
  5. Take your refractory and throw oil at the bottom of it. Place half of your dough in the refractory and shape it. Then you will put the stuffing in the middle of this dough. Start with the white sauce, then the cheese and finally the tomato. Now put the rest of your dough to cover your stuffing. With the help of a spoon, spread the rest of the dough evenly over the filling, so that it is closed.
  6. Make diagonal cuts, as in the photo and then pour olive oil on top.
  7. Take your stuffed kibe in the oven preheated to 230° for 20 minutes or until it's golden brown, depending on your taste.
  8. Serve it hot.
