  • Brown Rice2 cup
  • Scrambled egg5 unit(s)
  • Onion, thinly sliced for garnish1 unit(s)
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper to taste
  • Oregano (optional) to taste
  • Ground Garlic2 unit(s)
  • Chopped Onion1/2 cup
  • Extra virgin olive oil or oil4 tablespoon
  1. In a pan put the olive oil, the chopped onion and the ground garlic and sauté until golden, add the brown rice (I used type 1) and saute again
  2. Season with salt and cover with water up to 3 fingers above the rice, leave the pan half-covered and wait to cook until all the water is dry, set aside
  3. In a bowl, beat the eggs until frothy and season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  4. Cook the eggs in a non-stick frying pan, make the scrambled eggs and set aside
  5. On a platter mount your special rice: put the cooked brown rice, the scrambled eggs and mix well, finish with the onion rings and oregano to taste. Ready 😋
