- Flaked cassava flour1 cup
- Well-mashed Blumenau Sausage1 tablespoon
- Chopped Onion1/4 cup
- Sweet paprika1 coffee spoon
- Olive oil1 tablespoon
- Butter2 dessert spoon
- Sea Salt to taste
- Chopped green onion to taste
- In a heated pan add the sausage and oil and fry well.
- Add the onion and continue stirring and frying the onion until it turns golden brown.
- Add the chives and paprika, the butter and sauté for another 2 minutes.
- Add the flour, salt and lower the heat. Keep stirring to toast the flour well for about 5 minutes.
- Transfer the farofa to another container and let it cool completely before serving.
