Creamy Garlic Mashed Potatoes

  • Butter4 tablespoon
  • Garlic Cloves6 unit(s)
  • Sour cream200 g
  • Salt and Black Pepper to taste
  1. Cut the potatoes and put them to cook until they are very soft. Drain the water and reserve.
  2. In the pan that cooked the potatoes, melt the butter with a drizzle of olive oil and lightly fry the garlic (if large, cut in half). Don't let the butter or garlic burn, it's just enough to keep them from being completely raw. If you don't like garlic, just do it without.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste, while the garlic is frying.
  4. Add the cream, mix everything and leave it on the fire a little, without boiling the mixture.
  5. Crush the garlic and mix.
  6. Add the potatoes, mash and mix well. Serve immediately.
  7. NOTE: If you have leftovers, you can freeze them. When you want to eat again, let it thaw in the fridge the night before and reheat before serving.
