  • Ingredients
  • Recipe
  • Cooked Butter Beans1 cup
  • Tahini2 tablespoon
  • Squeezed lime1 unit(s)
  • Extra virgin olive oil2 tablespoon
  • Oregano to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Olive oil for drizzling hummus to taste
  • Filtered water to beat and make the point1 tablespoon
  1. Cook the butter beans (in the pressure cooker for 25 minutes or in the regular pot for 50 minutes)
  2. Let it cool down and put it in the processor along with the tahini, the squeezed lemon, the salt and the filtered water
  3. Beat well until smooth and creamy (add more water if necessary)
  4. Remove from the processor and water olive oil and oregano
  5. Serve with rice crackers or toast or vegetables or flatbread or Italian bread 😉
