  • Cooked chickpeas600 g
  • Tahini1/4 cup
  • Olive oil1/4 cup
  • Garlic Clove2 unit(s)
  • Cumin1 coffee spoon
  • Smoked paprika1 teaspoon
  • Syrian pepper1/4 teaspoon
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Salt1/2 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice1 unit(s)
  • Warm water1/2 cup
  1. Add all the ingredients to the blender and blend on high power until creamy.
  2. The consistency will depend on how long you beat and how much water you put in. If you want more pieces, add less water, if you want creamier, more water.
  3. Add the hummus to a serving plate, garnish with olive oil, smoked paprika, black pepper and chopped parsley.
  4. It's perfect to serve with flatbread, which I've already taught the recipe here.
