- Cooked chickpeas600 g
- Tahini1/4 cup
- Olive oil1/4 cup
- Garlic Clove2 unit(s)
- Cumin1 coffee spoon
- Smoked paprika1 teaspoon
- Syrian pepper1/4 teaspoon
- Black pepper to taste
- Salt1/2 teaspoon
- Lemon juice1 unit(s)
- Warm water1/2 cup
- Add all the ingredients to the blender and blend on high power until creamy.
- The consistency will depend on how long you beat and how much water you put in. If you want more pieces, add less water, if you want creamier, more water.
- Add the hummus to a serving plate, garnish with olive oil, smoked paprika, black pepper and chopped parsley.
- It's perfect to serve with flatbread, which I've already taught the recipe here.
