- Cook the beans in 1 1/2 l of water. After boiling, count from 7 to 8 minutes. Then open the pan and drain. In another pan, place the beans, rice, margarine, onion, pepper, chicken broth, cumin, parsley and 2 l of boiling water. Bring to a boil until the rice is cooked. If necessary, add more water until the rice is cooked. Before drying completely, add the cream and mix well, also place pieces of cheese inside the baião to melt. Cover the pan, turn off the heat and set aside. Wash the charque well and boil to remove the salt. Fry and place a layer on top of the baião. Serve next.
