  • Red onion8 unit(s)
  • Girl Finger Pepper5 unit(s)
  • Garlic (clove)8 unit(s)
  • Brown Sugar2 cup
  • Apple Cider Vinegar2 cup
  • Fresh thyme to taste
  1. Chop the bacon into small strips; Chop the onion in half moon (fine); Chop the pout pepper into small pieces; Chop the garlic into thin slices; In a deep pan (preferably a wock) fry the bacon, drain and place in a bowl lined with paper towels. Reserve; In the same pan, with a little of the bacon fat, sauté the girl's finger pepper for 1 minute; Add the onion until it is soft and translucent; Add garlic, sauté; Add the brown sugar and mix well; Add the vinegar, mix well and let it cook for 10 minutes. Turn off the heat and let cool.
  2. Serve cold. Suggestion: Serve with Parmesan cheese squares or meats and finish with fresh thyme leaves...the flavor is amazing!
