  • Slightly warm water120 ml
  • Oil60 ml
  • Sugar1 tablespoon
  • Salt1 teaspoon
  • Dry yeast (half a tablespoon)5 g
  • Wheat flour2 cup
  • Sausages8 unit(s)
  • Egg1 unit(s)
  1. Start by mixing the yeast, water and sugar well in a large bowl.
  2. Then add the oil and salt, finally add the flour little by little and incorporate it with the help of a large spoon.
  3. As soon as the dough becomes too heavy to handle with a spoon, transfer it to a counter and knead a little by folding the dough over itself and stretching it.
  4. You don't need to knead much, just until the dough is smooth and soft. Return to the bowl, cover with a cloth and let rest for 20 minutes.
  5. Meanwhile wash and dry the sausages well. Reserve.
  6. After resting, transfer the dough to the counter, removing all the air. Roll it out with a rolling pin until it's thin. With a knife, cut the dough into strips.
  7. Wrap the strips of dough over the sausages so that they completely cover them, pinch the ends of the dough to seal well. Transfer to a greased pan.
  8. You can cut the sausages in half or into three parts. Brush the rolls with lightly beaten egg and you can sprinkle grated cheese or oregano.
  9. Preheat the oven to 200°C for 5 minutes and bake the rolls for around 20 minutes or until they are golden.
