Learn where Choripan comes from

Choripan or Argentine sausage bread, as the name suggests, is a typically Argentine dish that has gained popularity and the taste of Brazilians. It is not possible to affirm if the Argentinians are the real authors of the choripan recipe, as many say that its origin is uncertain, but as far as we know, this wonderful sausage sandwich came from the neighboring country.

The southern region was one of the first in Brazil to be enchanted by choripan and begin to include it in their cuisine, and there it is also called "salsipão". Nowadays, all other regions have embraced this novelty, and many bars throughout the Brazilian territory have this dish on their menu, and in many places, it is served as a differentiated homemade sandwich, accompanied by French fries.

Another country where choripan is widely consumed and adored is Uruguay. In some cities here in our country, extra ingredients have been added to the original recipe for this sausage sandwich, such as lettuce, tomato, garlic pastes, and other seasonings that go beyond the traditional chimichurri.
