- Pink pepper1 teaspoon
- Wash and peel the beets
- Cut into thin slices
- Place in a sterilized glass
- Add salt, lemon juice, bay leaf and pink pepper.
- Cover with filtered water, put a weight so the beets are completely covered in liquid
- Put the lid on, without closing completely
- Leave at room temperature for 48 hours to ferment, ready for consumption.
- After this period, put it in the fridge.
