  • Salt to taste
  • Parsley to taste
  • Oil or olive oil to taste
  • Vinegar to taste
  1. Peel the chayotes into cubes and cook (or steam) Note: Chayote cannot be overcooked or undercooked, check with a fork if it is firm and soft.
  2. Remove from pan and place in colander.
  3. In a container, place the chayote, salt, oil, parsley and vinegar. (everything to your liking)
  4. Mix everything together and place in the fridge for approximately 45 minutes.
  5. Serve cold and enjoy!
