  • Carrot in small strips300 g
  • Butter1 tablespoon
  • Brown Sugar1 tablespoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Sage to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Lemon zest1 unit(s)
  • Orange Juice1/2 unit(s)
  1. Put the carrots to cook until they are al dente, it can be in water or steamed, just don't let it go too long. Reserve. I used baby carrots, but you can chop regular carrots.
  2. Place the butter and the sage in a deep frying pan over medium heat (you can use rosemary or any other herb you like), when the butter melts, add the sugar and stir, add the carrots, salt, pepper and the lemon zest, finally add the orange juice and let it simmer for about 5 minutes, you can give it a little stir from time to time to caramelize completely. Then just serve!
