  • pack of puff pastry1 unit(s)
  • milk2 cup
  • sugar3 tablespoon
  • Peel of half a lemon1 unit(s)
  • strawberries200 g
  • corn starch4 teaspoon
  • egg yolks3 unit(s)
  • vanilla essence1 teaspoon
  • icing sugar2 teaspoon
  1. Open the dough in a form lined with parchment paper
  2. Make some holes in it with the help of a fork.
  3. Refrigerate for 30 minutes
  4. Then into the preheated oven at 180°C for 10 minutes.
  5. Remove the dough from the oven, let it cool and cut into 6 medium rectangles.
  6. Reserve
  7. In a saucepan, combine the milk, sugar and cornstarch.
  8. Mix well and add the beaten egg yolks
  9. Add the vanilla extract and the lemon zest and mix everything well again.
  10. Remove from pan and cool with cling film on top.
  11. Assemble the pie by interspersing a slice of dough, a little bit of cream and strawberries.
  12. When you put the last slice of dough, finish with the sugar on top of everything.
