  • Cinnamon to taste
  • Water1/2 cup
  • Wheat flour2 cup
  • Sour cream - box1 unit(s)
  • Salt1/2 coffee spoon
  • Sugar2 tablespoon
  1. In a bowl, sift the flour, a pinch of salt and 2 tablespoons of sugar.
  2. Add 1 tablespoon of butter and mix with your fingertips.
  3. Add the cream little by little, until it becomes a smooth dough that does not stick to your hands. Wrap in plastic and leave in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, prepare the filling. Peel the apples and cut into slices.
  5. In a pan put 1 cup of sugar. When it starts to caramelize, add the butter, apples, and cinnamon.
  6. Add the water and let it boil until the sugar clumps dissolve. The apples should be soft but not too mushy. If you want you can add 5 tablespoons of cognac in place of the water.
  7. Place the apples in a pie tin, pour all the syrup over the apples.
  8. Roll out the dough with a rolling pin and cover the apples.
  9. Bake in a preheated oven at 180° for about 35 minutes. The edges of the pie are lightly browned.
  10. Unmold while still hot so the caramel doesn't stick.
  11. Tip: serve with a scoop of ice cream!
