Mashed Potatoes with Gratin Meat

- Margarine or butter1 tablespoon
- Milk1/4 cup
- Salt to taste
- Mozzarella150 g
- Meat strips500 g
- Tomato sauce300 g
- Onion1/2 unit(s)
- Garlic cloves2 unit(s)
- Olive oil1 tablespoon
- Pepper to taste
- First, peel the potatoes and cut them into cubes. Put to cook until they are very soft.
- Meanwhile, heat the oil in a large skillet. Add the onion and garlic and saute until starting to brown.
- Add the meat in strips (I used duckling), and sauté until golden and form a crust at the bottom of the pan! Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Lower the heat and add the tomato sauce. Mix well by scraping the bottom of the pan. Cook about 3 minutes. Reserve.
- When the potatoes are very soft, drain the water and mash the potatoes. Add the margarine and season with salt. Mix well.
- Gradually, add the milk and mix, until you get the point if you prefer. Don't make it too soft.
- Transfer the puree to a platter, place a layer of mozzarella on top, the meat with sauce and finish with the rest of the cheese.
- Take it to the oven until golden!
