- Put 2 tablespoons of butter in a pan and heat until melted. Add the onion and sauté for 2 minutes. Add the ground beef, stir occasionally, for 10 minutes, or until all the water it releases has dried up.
- Add the tomato paste, salt, ground beef stock and olives and mix. Cook for another 5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
- In a pan put water and the potatoes to cook, for 10 minutes or until they are falling apart. Drain and mash.
- In a bowl, place the potato, the milk, the rest of the butter, the meat stock and the salt, and mix well until it forms a puree.
- In a skillet, fry the bacon and set aside.
- On a large platter, place half the mashed potatoes, half the mozzarella, the ground beef and the rest of the mashed potatoes, finally put the rest of the mozzarella and the bacon and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 10 minutes or until the mozzarella is cooked through. melt. Serve immediately
