- Sugar200 g
- Canola or corn oil180 ml
- drained green corn1 can(s)
- Coconut milk200 ml
- Pre-cooked corn flakes150 g
- Dry shredded coconut50 g
- Baking powder1 dessert spoon
- Salt (pinch)1 to taste
- Topping: guava in cubes200 g
- Coverage: water1 to taste
- Topping: lemon juice10 ml
- Topping: hydrated shredded coconut flakes100 g
- Preheat the oven to 180, grease and flour a baking dish
- In the blender, place the eggs, oil, sugar and beat for 5 minutes, add the green corn and the other ingredients and beat for another 5 minutes.
- Place in the pan and bake for 50 minutes or until golden and firm.
- When cool, unmold and set aside.
- For the topping, place the guava in the pan with the lemon juice and a little water and bring to a low heat until it boils and is creamy.
- Pour the still warm guava syrup over the cake and spread the coconut flakes on top.
