  • Sugar200 g
  • Canola or corn oil180 ml
  • drained green corn1 can(s)
  • Coconut milk200 ml
  • Pre-cooked corn flakes150 g
  • Dry shredded coconut50 g
  • Baking powder1 dessert spoon
  • Salt (pinch)1 to taste
  • Topping: guava in cubes200 g
  • Coverage: water1 to taste
  • Topping: lemon juice10 ml
  • Topping: hydrated shredded coconut flakes100 g
  1. Preheat the oven to 180, grease and flour a baking dish
  2. In the blender, place the eggs, oil, sugar and beat for 5 minutes, add the green corn and the other ingredients and beat for another 5 minutes.
  3. Place in the pan and bake for 50 minutes or until golden and firm.
  4. When cool, unmold and set aside.
  5. For the topping, place the guava in the pan with the lemon juice and a little water and bring to a low heat until it boils and is creamy.
  6. Pour the still warm guava syrup over the cake and spread the coconut flakes on top.
