Baked Potatoes for Christmas

Em uma tijela, adicione o creme de leite, a água, o sal, a pimenta e a noz moscada. Mexa até que tudo esteja incorporado. 

In a bowl, add the cream, water, salt, pepper and nutmeg. Stir until everything is incorporated.

Descasque as batatas. Corte as batatas em rodelas finas. 

Peel the potatoes. Cut the potatoes into thin slices.

Em uma assadeira, unte com azeite, e coloque as rodelas de batatas uma em cima da outra, preenchendo toda a assadeira. Na metade, adicione metade do queijo mussarela em fatias. Continue colocano as batatas até acabarem. 

In a roasting pan, grease with olive oil, and place the potato slices one on top of the other, filling the entire pan. Halfway through, add half of the sliced mozzarella cheese. Keep putting the potatoes in until they run out.

Despeje o creme de leite temperado em cima das batatas até que cubra elas. Coloque a outra parte do queijo mussarela em fatias por cima e leve ao forno até que as batatas estejam cozidas (sabe-se espetando-as com uma faca) e o queijo gratinado. 

Pour the seasoned sour cream on top of the potatoes until it covers them. Place the other part of the sliced mozzarella cheese on top and bake until the potatoes are cooked (you know by skewering them with a knife) and the cheese is gratinated.
