  • Warm whole milk450 ml
  • Wheat Flour1 kg
  • refined sugar6 tablespoon
  • Organic Honey4 tablespoon
  • Dry yeast for bread and dough10 g
  • Eggs3 unit(s)
  • Butter or margarine2 tablespoon
  • Egg yolk for brushing1 unit(s)
  • Cinnamon powder to sprinkle on top of bread to taste
  1. In a large bowl put the sugar, flour and salt and mix, add the dry yeast and mix everything
  2. Add the butter, eggs, honey and warm milk and mix everything together with your hands until the dough starts to come together.
  3. Knead the dough on a clean, floured bench for about 10 minutes until the dough is smooth.
  4. Place the dough in the bowl covered with a cloth and let it rest for an hour.
  5. Debt the dough and place in the molds of English cake or make balls and place in a rectangular shape (lined with parchment paper or greased with a little butter and flour)
  6. Cover with cloth and let rest for another 40 minutes.
  7. Brush with egg yolk and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 40 minutes (until golden)
  8. Unmold and sprinkle cinnamon powder to taste (optional)
  9. Tip: if you make balls, it makes more than 20 sweet breads 😉
