- Parboiled Rice2 cup
- Diced Calabrian sausage3 unit(s)
- Large cabbage leaf10 unit(s)
- Chopped Garlic1 dessert spoon
- Chopped Onion1/2 cup
- Bay Leaf1 unit(s)
- Sea Salt to taste
- Hot vegetable broth5 cup
- Cut the cabbage into thin strips and set aside.
- In a heated pan, fry the sausage well, add the garlic and onion and sauté.
- Add the rice, vegetable broth, salt and bay leaf and mix.
- Let it cook with the lid half open.
- When the rice water is almost dry, add the cabbage and mix.
- Close the lid of the pan and turn off the heat. Leave it there for 5 minutes before serving.
