Fresh Basil

Chopped walnuts or sunflower seeds

Fresh Grated Parmesan

Garlic clove without the bud

Extra virgin olive oil

Salt and black pepper

Pasta with pesto (adapted for BR)

Lave e seque bem as folhas de manjericão, retire cada folha dos talos. 

Wash and dry the basil leaves well, remove each leaf from the stalks.

No processador de alimentos ou liquidificador ou mixer ou almofariz de mármore, bata todos os ingredientes até triturar, menos o manjericão. Depois de triturado, acrescente o manjericão e bata novamente. Tempere com o sal e pimenta do reino à gosto.

In a food processor or blender or mixer or marble mortar, blend all ingredients except basil until smooth. After crushed, add the basil and beat again. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Coloque a massa pra cozinhar com sal na água fervente, retire um minuto antes de ficar pronta, passe pra uma panela com uma  concha da água do cozimento e duas colheres (sopa) do pesto - mas pode colocar mais se quiser. Misture até ficar levemente cremoso e tá pronto, é só servir! 

Put the pasta to cook with salt in boiling water, remove it a minute before it is ready, transfer it to a pan with a ladle of the cooking water and two tablespoons of the pesto - but you can add more if you want. Mix until it's slightly creamy and it's ready, just serve!

Combina tbm com bacon (coloquei uns cubos na minha massa), frango, ovos, burrata, muçarela, polenta, etc. 

It also goes well with bacon (I put some cubes in my pasta), chicken, eggs, burrata, mozzarella, polenta, etc.
