  • Ears of green corn.12 unit(s)
  • Sugar100 g
  • Margarine4 tablespoon
  • Salt1 tablespoon
  • Corn husk for rolling. to taste
  1. Grate the cobs on a grater of your choice.
  2. Add the margarine, salt and sugar.
  3. Mix well and set aside.
  4. Wash the corn husks and let them dry.
  5. Use two sheets of corn husks and place one on top of the other to make something like a cylinder.
  6. Put the corn dough.
  7. Tip: Add pieces of cheese if desired.
  8. Close the straws and tie a string.
  9. In a large pot, bring water to boil and when it is boiling, place the pamonhas.
  10. Leave on fire for about 40 minutes.
  11. Remove from the heat and let the excess water drain and then serve.
