  • Noodles (preferably a long pasta)500 g
  • Fresh cream*400 ml
  • Sicilian lemon (zest and juice)1 unit(s)
  • Grated Parmesan Cheese1 cup
  • Onion1 unit(s)
  • Salt, black pepper and seasonings to taste
  1. Cook the macaroni according to the instructions on the package. Drain, rinse in cold water and set aside.
  2. In a pan, sauté the onion in a little oil and salt until golden. Add the cream and lemon zest, stir well and let it simmer for 5 minutes (stirring occasionally so it doesn't stick).
  3. Turn off the heat, add the lemon juice and Parmesan cheese and mix well. Taste and add salt if needed. Serve with black pepper to taste.
  4. * you can use two cans of cream without the whey. The sauce becomes more consistent, so in this case reserve 1 cup of the pasta cooking water and add it gradually to the sauce if necessary.
