- Wheat flour3 cup
- Refined sugar2 tablespoon
- Salt1 teaspoon
- Butter or margarine at room temperature2 tablespoon
- Egg2 unit(s)
- Chemical yeast (for cakes)1 tablespoon
- Oregano, cheese, sesame seed, cinnamon to taste
- In a bowl, start adding the dry ingredients: add sifting the wheat flour, sugar and salt. Mix to dissolve the sugar and salt in the flour.
- After dissolving the salt and sugar in the flour, add the chemical yeast and mix.
- Add: butter, egg, and milk gradually add. Start mixing with the spoon and then you will get to a point where you will need to mix with your hands.
- When you turn a single dough that has absorbed all the liquids, sprinkle flour on the bench and knead this dough for 3 minutes so that the dough is very smooth.
- Portion the dough into balls and roll to get a smooth surface. If you want, you can fill the buns.
- Place the buns on an oiled baking sheet.
- Brush with egg wash (beaten egg) and as an option you can put on top: oregano, sesame seed, cinnamon powder or cheese.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
