Macaroni with Bacon in White Sauce

  • Penne Noodles (or your choice)250 g
  • Milk1 cup
  • Maizena1 tablespoon
  • Sour cream200 g
  • Butter1 tablespoon
  • Onion1/2 unit(s)
  • Salt to taste
  • Nutmeg to taste
  • Mozzarella cheese200 g
  • Bacon300 g
  1. Cook the macaroni, drain and set aside.
  2. In a pan, brown the onion in butter. After the onion is golden, add the milk, cornstarch, grated nutmeg to taste and salt to taste, mix well until boiling. After boiling, add the cream and leave it on low heat until it forms a cream.
  3. In another pan add the bacon cut into small cubes and fry.
  4. Place the pasta on a platter and pour the sauce on top, add the mozzarella and sprinkle the bacon. If you have oregano, you can also put more there (to taste). Put it in the oven to melt the cheese and it's ready.
