  • Organic Dry Yeast (1 sachet) - (for the dough)10 g
  • Refined sugar (for the dough)1 teaspoon
  • Salt (for the dough) to taste
  • Olive oil (for the dough) to taste
  • Wheat flour (for the dough)2 cup
  • Peeled Tomato - 1 can (for the sauce)1 unit(s)
  • Olive oil (for the sauce)2 tablespoon
  • Clove of garlic (for the sauce)1 unit(s)
  • Salt (for the sauce) to taste
  • Black pepper (for the sauce) to taste
  • Large red onion (for the filling)1 unit(s)
  • Caster sugar (for the filling)1 teaspoon
  • Olive oil (for the filling)2 tablespoon
  • Bacon (for the filling)100 g
  • Pitted black olive oil - cut into slices (for the filling)2 tablespoon
  • Grated mozzarella cheese (for the filling)150 g
  • Basil or Oregano, fresh to taste
  1. In a bowl, mix the water, yeast, sugar, salt and oil.
  2. Add the flour and knead the dough until it is very smooth and does not stick to your hands.
  3. Dissolve the dough into the bowl and cover for 30 min. Let it rest in the "warmest place in the kitchen".
  4. After the dough rests, sprinkle the countertop with wheat flour and divide the dough in half.
  5. With the help of a rolling pin, open two pizza discs (not too thin) and place them on a baking sheet or pizza stone. Make holes in the dough with a fork and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 10 min.
  6. Beat the olive oil with the garlic in the blender, drain the peeled tomato with a sieve, place the drained tomato in the blender and season with pepper and salt to taste, beat the pulse function, to leave some pieces of tomato.
  7. Cut the onion into half moons. In a pan, heat a drizzle of oil, and brown the onion, sugar and a pinch of salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until caramelized.
  8. Grind the bacon in a food processor and cook over medium heat until the bacon is golden.
  9. On the pre-baked pizza disc, place the tomato sauce, the cheese and the caramelized onion, sprinkle the golden bacon and the olive. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 10 min. When you take it out of the oven, finish with the oregano or basil leaves.
