  • Water2 tablespoon
  • Sugar2 tablespoon
  • Salt1 coffee spoon
  • Wheat (until it is very firm and hard, approximately)300 g
  • Oil (for frying)600 ml
  • Caster sugar (sprinkle on top after frying the grostoli)200 g
  1. Mix all the ingredients and add the wheat little by little until you get a very hard dough.
  2. To stretch the dough you will need a cylinder, stretch the dough very thin, cut and fry then sprinkle the sugar.
  3. After cooling, place in a bowl and cover very well, you will have a very dry and crispy grustoli for days.
