- Wheat flour500 g
- Hot water300 ml
- Corn flour to taste
- Sugar3 dessert spoon
- Yeast1 unit(s)
- Oil1/2 cup
- Salt to taste
- Mozzarella cheese300 g
- Dissolve the yeast and sugar in the water and leave for a few minutes. Add the remaining ingredients, oil, salt and black pepper if you like. and mix.
- In a large bowl add the flour.
- Add the liquid with the flour and knead well until it becomes a homogeneous mass.
- Let the dough ferment for a few hours, it will double in size.
- After removing from the bowl, divide the dough into pieces and assemble them into round disks. Dip the sfihas in the corn flour.
- For the filling, grate the cheese and add it to the sfihas. Add a drizzle of olive oil and dry grated cheese for more flavor and crunch.
- Bake at 180 degrees until golden.
