  • Wheat flour1 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Egg Yolk2 unit(s)
  1. Peel, cut into large pieces and cook the potatoes until soft. Drain the water and mash the potatoes well.
  2. Wait for it to cool a little, season with salt and add some of the flour, the yolks and mix well with your hands.
  3. Add the rest of the flour little by little. The amount of flour can vary, the point is a soft dough that you can roll without sticking to your hands.
  4. Dust a worktop with flour and roll the dough into rolls. Cut these rolls into several 2cm pieces and place in a greased shape so they don't stick.
  5. Cook the gnocchi in boiling water with a little salt. Don't cook several at the same time so they don't stick together. When the gnocchi rise to the surface of the water, take it out!
  6. Serve with a sauce of your choice or just tossed in herbed butter!
