- warm milk1/2 cup
- Olive oil or oil8 tablespoon
- Bread Yeast30 g
- Fennel1 tablespoon
- Sugar1/3 cup
- Fine Fuba1 cup
- Salt1 coffee spoon
- Wheat flour3 cup
- Gem for brushing2 unit(s)
- Cornmeal for sprinkling1 to taste
- Margarine1 tablespoon
- In a blender, beat the eggs, milk, butter, olive oil, yeast, salt, fennel and sugar.
- Pour the liquid ingredients mixture into a bowl.
- In another bowl, mix a cup of cornmeal tea, salt and three cups of wheat flour tea and gradually add the dry ingredients to the liquid ingredients.
- When the dough is more solid, it's time to put your hands, knead until a smooth and soft dough, for about 20 minutes.
- If necessary, add more flour until the bread no longer sticks to your hands.
- Place in a bowl greased with olive oil, cover with a clean cloth cloth and let rest for 30 minutes.
- Divide the dough into equal parts and shape the buns.
- Place one next to the other in a greased and floured pan, cover and let it rest for 1 hour.
- Brush with egg yolk, sprinkle with cornmeal and bake in a medium oven (180ºC), preheated, for 30 minutes or until golden.
