- Olive oil to taste
- Salt to taste

- Bring 2 liters of water to high heat; When it boils, add ½ spoon of salt and the spaghetti; Cook until the pasta is al dente.
- While the pasta is cooking, peel and chop the garlic, wash and cut the tomatoes in half and wash the basil leaves.
- Heat a skillet over low heat and drizzle with 1 tablespoon of oil, add the garlic and stir for 1 minute; Add the tomato and season with salt and pepper; Once the tomato is cooked, reserve ½ cup of the cooking water and drain the pasta; Transfer the spaghetti to the skillet with the sauce and mix well; If you want a more liquid sauce, gradually add the reserved cooking water; Now just mix the basil leaves and serve your pasta with grated cheese
