  • Cassava1 kg
  • Egg1 unit(s)
  • Margarine1 tablespoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Leek2 unit(s)
  • Wheat flour2 cup
  • grated cheese to taste
  1. Peel the cassava, cut into pieces and put it to cook. As soon as the water starts to boil, add the salt.
  2. When the cassava is very soft, drain and mash it with a potato masher.
  3. Add the egg, flour and margarine and mix and knead well.
  4. Place the dough on the table, roll and cut
  5. Bring to a boil in a pan with water, a drizzle of oil and a pinch of salt.
  6. Put the gnocchi little by little, when it starts to rise just remove it and put it in a bowl
  7. In a skillet, sauté the leek with butter, salt and seasonings to taste.
  8. Add to the gnocchi, sprinkle the grated cheese on top and serve.
