  • Boiled and mashed yam2 cup
  • Wheat flour4 cup
  • Fresh yeast1 unit(s)
  • Milk1/2 cup
  • Egg1 unit(s)
  • lard1 tablespoon
  • Sugar1 tablespoon
  • Salt1 coffee spoon
  • Cinnamon powder1 coffee spoon
  1. Leave the yeast and sugar to rest in warm milk for 15 minutes.
  2. Mix the wheat flour with the yam, the egg and the salt, the cinnamon and the lard, add the yeast kneading well.
  3. Let the dough stand for an hour and a half.
  4. Shape the buns and leave to rest for another half hour on a greased and sprinkled baking sheet.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 180° for 30 minutes or until cooked.
