- 1 1/4 cup milk250 ml
- 1 cup sour cream200 g
- 4 tablespoons of sugar60 g
- 1 teaspoon of salt6 g
- 4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour450 g
- 1 tablespoon of dry yeast10 g
- 1/2 cup candied fruit50 g
- In a bowl place the milk, dry yeast, sugar, cream and stir just to mix.
- Gradually add the wheat flour, salt and mix until it becomes a sticky and elastic dough.
- Grease a hole in the middle with margarine, place 1/3 of the dough, sprinkle candied fruit and repeat this process with the rest of the dough.
- Let it rest for 1 hour or until it doubles in volume. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 35 minutes.
- Unmold, brush with a syrup prepared with a little water and sugar and serve.
