- Warm water300 ml
- Oil or olive oil1/2 cup
- Organic Dry Yeast10 g
- Sugar30 g
- Salt1 teaspoon
- Whole wheat flour500 g
- In a bowl put all the ingredients, last the salt and the wholemeal flour. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes, until you get a very smooth dough that doesn't stick to your hands. Let it rest for 30 minutes. Then sprinkle some wholemeal flour on the countertop and open the dough with your hands, roll it up like a roulade and place it in a greased bread pan. Let rise until doubled in volume (approximately 1 hour).
- After that time brush 1 egg yolk and sprinkle oatmeal or sesame on top of your bread and bake in a preheated oven at 180° for approximately 40 minutes.
- ✓Tip: Add walnuts or macadamia nuts or crushed almonds or Brazil nuts or linseed to the dough
