- Cut the carrots into large pieces, put them in the blender along with the oil. Beat everything.
- Add the 1 and 1/2 cups of sugar and beat again.
- Add the eggs, beat some more.
- Add the 2 and 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour and beat again until all the ingredients are combined.
- Add the yeast and press the "pulse" option in the blender, three times.
- Grease the mold with butter and wheat flour and preheat the oven for 5 minutes at 180°C.
- Pour all the batter over the mold and bake for about 30 minutes.
- While the cake is baking, make the syrup. Place all the ingredients for the syrup in a pan, over low heat, stirring constantly, until you have a syrup consistency.
- Spread the syrup over the cake while it is still warm.
