- Whole Wheat Flour1 cup
- White Wheat Flour1 cup
- Brown sugar1 cup
- Grated Coconut1 cup
- Sea Salt1/2 coffee spoon
- Coconut Oil1/2 cup
- Water1/2 cup
- Apple3 unit(s)
- Nuts or Chestnuts1/4 cup
- Cinnamon1 to taste
- Mix the flours, brown sugar, oil and water. Knead the dough.
- Open the dough and place it in a removable background form greased with coconut oil. Reserve some of the dough to decorate the pie.
- Grate the apples on the grater.
- Add cinnamon and sugar along with the grated apple.
- Place the filling (the grated apples) on top of the pie. (drain the water well).
- Make strips with the reserved dough, and place it on top of the pie, forming a chess.
- Sprinkle the walnuts or chestnuts over the pie.
- Place in the preheated oven to bake for 20 to 30 minutes.
