  • Whole Wheat Flour1 cup
  • White Wheat Flour1 cup
  • Brown sugar1 cup
  • Grated Coconut1 cup
  • Sea Salt1/2 coffee spoon
  • Coconut Oil1/2 cup
  • Water1/2 cup
  • Apple3 unit(s)
  • Nuts or Chestnuts1/4 cup
  • Cinnamon1 to taste
  1. Mix the flours, brown sugar, oil and water. Knead the dough.
  2. Open the dough and place it in a removable background form greased with coconut oil. Reserve some of the dough to decorate the pie.
  3. Grate the apples on the grater.
  4. Add cinnamon and sugar along with the grated apple.
  5. Place the filling (the grated apples) on top of the pie. (drain the water well).
  6. Make strips with the reserved dough, and place it on top of the pie, forming a chess.
  7. Sprinkle the walnuts or chestnuts over the pie.
  8. Place in the preheated oven to bake for 20 to 30 minutes.
