  • Cocoa powder1 cup
  • Baking powder (I prefer to use Royal1 tablespoon
  • A pinch of salt to taste
  • Sugar1 cup
  • Eggs3 unit(s)
  • Milk1 cup
  • Oil 1/21 cup
  • Vanilla essence1 teaspoon
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a cake tin. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt.
  2. In another bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.
  3. Add the milk, vegetable oil and vanilla essence to the egg and sugar mixture, and mix well.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the liquid mixture, mixing until you obtain a homogeneous dough.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for approximately 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool before unmolding.
  7. For an extra touch of indulgence, serve the wet chocolate cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a generous amount of hot chocolate sauce.
