  • Ingredients
  • Recipe
  • Banana Peel (cut cockatiel) Peel only.2 unit(s)
  • Rice Flour (homemade)1 unit(s)
  • Natural Water250 ml
  • Confectioner's Sugar2 cup
  • Egg1 unit(s)
  • Chemical Yeast (Royal)1 teaspoon
  • Margarine or Butter2 tablespoon
  1. Take the peels of two bananas cut in half, soak for a few minutes, and change the water (I did this process twice). The houses were left to soak while preparing the Rice Flour. The peels had been in the fridge for three days in a pot with a lid, I removed the stalk and the little black tip (use peels that still have a yellow color).
  2. In a blender add the shells, water and icing sugar and beat well.
  3. Add the rice flour, margarine and egg and beat some more.
  4. Add the royal and beat some more.
  5. Take a round cake or pudding pan and grease it with margarine.
  6. Pour the dough into the baking dish and put it in the oven. The dough will be very liquid, as the rice flour needs to cook.
  7. I made it in a 10 Liter Britânia oven, it takes 45 minutes.
  8. A division will happen, the rice flour will go down and on top it will be like a cream. Even if you leave it on for longer, the cream will remain.
  9. It tastes good, the best part is the top part (the banana peel cream). Both my mother and I didn't taste the banana in the cake and she didn't realize it had a peel.
  10. My mother wanted to know why the bottom was one color and the top was darker (she wanted to know how I had done it) after she ate I told her I had banana peel and she approved.
  11. The cream that is on top has a consistency that will always get on the fork or the toothpick that you will stick to check if it is ready.
  12. Tip: Bake for 40 minutes, take the roasting pan, with a protection so you don't burn yourself and flank it if you see any liquid, it's not ready yet, leave it a little longer.
  13. My nephew (child) ate it cold and I mean banana, he ate half of the cake alone, because in the afternoon at breakfast time there was nothing left.
