1/2 cup sugar

1 tablespoon of butter or margarine

1/2 cup of milk

1 1/2 cup condensed milk

4 cups of cornmeal

2 cups of sour cream

1 tablespoon of baking powder

Em uma panela coloque o açúcar e leve ao fogo, mexendo sempre, até caramelizar. Adicione a manteiga ou margarina, o leite e misture até dissolver o caramelo. Acrescente o leite condensado e mexa até engrossar.

Place the sugar in a pan and heat, stirring constantly, until caramelized. Add the butter or margarine, the milk and mix until the caramel dissolves. Add the condensed milk and stir until it thickens.

Em uma tigela coloque o fubá, o creme de leite, o leite condensado e misture até virar uma massa homogênea. Acrescente o fermento em pó e misture delicadamente.

In a bowl, place the cornmeal, milk cream, condensed milk and mix until it becomes a homogeneous mass. Add the baking powder and mix gently.

Unte uma forma de buraco no meio com manteiga ou margarina, coloque toda a massa e por cima coloque colheradas do doce de leite frio.

Grease a shape with a hole in the middle with butter or margarine, place all the dough and on top put spoonfuls of the cold dulce de leche.

Leve ao forno pré-aquecido a 200°C por 35 minutos. Desenforme e sirva-se.

Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 35 minutes. Unmold and serve.
