- Egg yolk3 unit(s)
- Unsalted butter200 g
- Sugar100 g
- Baking Powder1 tablespoon
- Milk2 cup
- Corn Starch1 tablespoon
- condensed milk1 unit(s)
- Strawberry flavored gelatin1 unit(s)
- Strawberry200 g
- Vanilla Essence to taste
- Crushed Chestnut Sherry100 g
- In the mixer add the sifted wheat flour, 2 egg yolks, the butter (at room temperature), the sifted sugar, the sifted yeast. With the racket-type batter, mix until you get a homogeneous mass.
- After stretching the dough with the help of a roll or with your hands in a form with a removable background. With a fork or a knife, poke holes in the dough to remove the air and bake for about 15 to 20 minutes at 180 degrees. Then take it out of the oven and let it cool.
- While the dough is resting, we will make the filling. In a pan add the milk, along with the cornstarch, the condensed milk and a yolk. Stir over low heat until it becomes a homogeneous cream. After turning off the fire, vanilla essence can be added to taste. reserve the cream
- To cover the pie, heat 200 ml of water in a pan, after starting to boil, add the strawberry gelatin and stir well to dissolve the powder. After completely dissolved, add 200ml of cold water and stir again. Turn off the heat and set aside to cool
- Assembling the pie: with the dough already cold, add the cream, after cutting the strawberries in half and adding over the cream. To finish put the jello, covering the pie completely.
- Decoration can be used chestnut sherry on the edge of the pie
- Take to freeze for at least 2 hours to firm. Then just serve and enjoy
