  • egg whites60 g
  • Almond flour120 g
  • Sugar120 g
  • Wheat flour25 g
  • Almond liqueur25 ml
  • Warm water20 ml
  • Icing sugar for sprinkling to taste
  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees
  2. Beat the yolks with the sugar until fluffy and whitish.
  3. Gradually add the warm water and almond liqueur.
  4. Add the sifted wheat flour and almond flour, little by little, mixing well
  5. Beat the egg whites and mix with the rest of the dough.
  6. Pour everything into a greased and floured round shape
  7. Bake in a low oven for approximately 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool, unmold and sprinkle icing sugar over a mold of the cross of Santiago so that it has the characteristic design.
