  • Sago1 cup
  • Mild Red Wine1 l
  • Water2 cup
  • Sugar1 cup
  • Clove2 unit(s)
  • Cinnamon stick1 unit(s)
  1. Place the sago in a bowl and cover with water and let it swell
  2. In a pan put the wine with 2 more cups of water the cloves and cinnamon and bring to the fire.
  3. When it boils, add the swollen sago and cook over medium heat for 15 minutes, always stirring so it doesn't stick.
  4. Then add the sugar and cook for another 5 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and let cool, stirring occasionally.
  6. After cooling it can be stored in the fridge.
