- Sago1 cup
- Mild Red Wine1 l
- Water2 cup
- Sugar1 cup
- Clove2 unit(s)
- Cinnamon stick1 unit(s)
- Place the sago in a bowl and cover with water and let it swell
- In a pan put the wine with 2 more cups of water the cloves and cinnamon and bring to the fire.
- When it boils, add the swollen sago and cook over medium heat for 15 minutes, always stirring so it doesn't stick.
- Then add the sugar and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let cool, stirring occasionally.
- After cooling it can be stored in the fridge.
