  • Sugar1/2 cup
  • Yeast1 tablespoon
  • Guava cut into cubes to taste
  • Oil for frying to taste
  • Sugar and cinnamon for later use to taste
  1. Mix all the ingredients except the yeast until smooth, finally mix the yeast and the guava pieces.
  2. Heat the oil and drop the dumplings with a spoon until golden, turn them over, drain on a paper towel so that they are very dry, pass the sugar and cinnamon mixed together.
  3. PS: some people like to fill it with chopped dulce de leche, sliced bananas, chocolate, bonbon, or even super frozen ice cream balls. There goes your creativity. My grandmother would add lemon or orange zest and it was amazing.
