- Sugar1 cup
- Water1 cup
- Coarse shredded coconut1/2 cup
- Cloves and Cinnamon1 to taste
- Grate the pumpkin into thick strands.
- Put the pumpkin, water, sugar and coconut and let it cook for 30 minutes.
- Add cinnamon and cloves to taste
- Let cool and serve chilled.
