Coloque o leite condensado, a manteiga e o leite em uma panela, leve ao fogo baixo e mecha sem parar.

Ao levar fervura desligue o fogo, e coloque em uma vasilha um pouco dessa mistura quente e dissolva uma colher de amido de milho, coloque na panela e volte ao fogo até ferver (mecha bem para não criar grumos, mas se criar passe rapidamente liquidificador).
