- Recipe
- Dots from the frezzer to the microwave.5 unit(s)
- Corn Starch (Maizena)3 tablespoon
- Corn1 can(s)
- Melted butter/margarine3 tablespoon
- Sugar2 cup
- Milk250 ml
- Shredded Coconut to taste
- In the blender you will add the butter, milk, corn, sugar and at the end the corn starch.
- Blend in a blender until you get a smooth and homogeneous mixture.
- Now I put the dough in the microwavable frezzer pots (we're going to put it in the oven, but it won't melt, okay). You choose the best ML of the pot for each portion of pamonha. It will take the bain-marie in the oven.
- It's time to add the grated coconut, if you want and like it. In case someone doesn't like it, just add it to the pots of those who like it, look how practical. Do not fill too much to the mouth, because in the water bath, the dough will rise.
- Close the jars with aluminum foil (make sure they are all well sealed.)
- Add boiling water (the height of the water is one finger below the mouth of the pot.) in the ovenproof dish. Don't let the pots touch the shape and they can't touch each other either.
- Leave it in the oven for 40 minutes, always checking that your oven, being very hot, does not dry out the water enough.
- After the time, take it out of the oven and remove the pots from the boiling water because if you don't take them out, they will continue to cook.
- If the dough is a little soft, it's super normal. It only hardens when it cools completely.
- READY!! I confess that I've never seen an easier way to make pamonha people. Before that I had never done it for the big work she normally gives. Now it's unmold, or even serving in the pots to each guest or each resident of the house, getting their own dot. I hope you enjoyed it as well as my family.
